What a night! The Old Saybrook All Stars took on the Harlem Wizards, and thanks to our amazing community, we raised over $7,000 to support Old Saybrook Public Schools.
Thank you to everyone who came out, cheered, and made the event such a success. We’re proud to be part of a community that shows up for our students.

This morning, all of our Old Saybrook schools proudly celebrated Veterans Day. At Old Saybrook Middle School, students had the special opportunity to meet and learn from a panel of local veterans who generously shared their stories and experiences in service to our country.
Following the discussion, our Culinary Arts students hosted a delicious breakfast for the veterans, and the band and chorus closed the morning with a heartfelt performance in their honor.
We are deeply grateful to our veterans for their courage, sacrifice, and service, and to our students and staff for helping make today such a meaningful celebration of gratitude and respect.

Old Saybrook Community Members,
This morning, a Goodwin student got a knee stuck in the playscape at recess. There were no injuries and members of the volunteer fire department responded and used a wrench to unbolt a piece of the playground and free the child. We want to thank emergency services for their quick response and reassure you that there was no danger to the school community and everyone is ok.
Thank you and have a great weekend.

May 7 was bike, ride, walk, and roll to school day. Many riders were able to get safety gear from our table that will help to keep them safe and visible as the navigate around Old Saybrook.
