Each fall, winter, and spring students participate in STAR Testing. The results are a measure of how students are progressing and informs teachers where their instruction is most needed. There are times that a student’s performance on STAR does that match their classroom performance. Teachers take all of this into consideration when planning next steps. We have learned not to get too “high” or too “low” regarding snapshot assessments.
