Parent Volunteers Needed: We could use a few friendly faces to greet students each morning at the drop off circle. As we urge all parents to drop their child(ren) at the drop off circle versus parking, a few helping hands would be beneficial. From 8:40-9:00, volunteers would welcome students and guide them to the building. All it takes is a smile and a warm greeting. If you are interested, please contact Lara Stack or Stacey Day.

Other Changes:

• A few families are piloting a new morning drop off system. Families post a sign on their

  windshield indicating that their child(ren) require some help exiting the car and getting into

  school.

• We have asked staff to park in the Acton Library Lot and in the “Flagpole” lot. This will free

  up more spaces consistently in the front lot.

• The “Flagpole” lot will become a handicapped and staff parking lot only. There will be a new

  sign indicating this.

• We are going to work with families to increase the use of the morning drop off circle vs.

  parking / walking students in. This will decrease congestion, vehicles backing out, and

  families walking through the parking lot.

• ATTENTION: Please do not leave your car running while walking your student(s) to the

  building.

• ATTENTION: Please do not park in illegal spots.
